2021.12.03 02:01 ogiota Maximum TPS 1 billion?
so we're looking at heirachical sharding here.
iota (or shimmer) = layer0 assembly = layer1 assembly sub chains = layer2
many assembly like layer 1 chains could be spawned, each hosting many sub chains.
assuming each layer can sustain 1000 tps:
max aggregate tps is 10003 = 1 billion tps.
interchain comms are capped 1000tps of course, but theoretically if the sub chains use 1000x more on chain tps than interchain comms then this limit could be achieved. chunking interchain comms to fill tx payloads could perhaps bump that 1000 limit up?
and whats to stop a layer2 sub chain from spawning some layer3 chains?
this could be BIG.

2021.12.03 02:01 Plenty_Celebration_4 Best methods for living long?
I've got several hundred hours in CK3 at this point, and I know the ins and outs of the game pretty damn well by now. But one thing I've not been able to get right quite yet is long life. Most characters of mine, if you don't focus on anything health wise, die between 60-70. My record is age 86, where he had whole of body and a few other health traits. I know that whole of body automatically gives you a lot more years, and so do traits like herculean.
However, I'm curious if there is a way to get to over 100 without breeding for it. Also, as a side note, I'm curious what your records are for age, without exploits/cheats of course. What is the oldest POSSIBLE to get I wonder?
